Marion Loved Her Botox, Major Mitchell Cockatoo Fine Art Print
Marion loves a freshly-fluffed face. She wants to look as YOUNG as possible for as LONG as possible. She is always up for a tweak here or there. She’s always been a bit “extra” and that is what makes her so great. Marion reminds you to be yourself; whether you love allllllllll the makeup and jewelry or you prefer NONE. You are perfectly made to shine as YOU.

The full skinny:
These aren't mass-produced prints. They're faithful reproductions of my originals, printed on archival-quality canvas and stretched over 1.25" solid pine stretcher bars for a rich, dimensional feel. Then they're mounted inside an elegant floating frame made from FSC Certified, locally sourced North American poplar wood — so your art looks like it's floating, sleek and gallery-ready right out of the box.
In my vibrant paintings, everyday birds; seagulls, bluebirds, parrots, and more, emerge from bold, saturated fields of color and gestural mark-making, each adorned with a delicate glowing crown icon that serves as a secular halo. These crowns declare that every creature, no matter how ordinary or overlooked, is inherently sacred and worthy of reverence. The birds become powerful metaphors for women: resilient, silly, expressive, sometimes chaotic, yet undeniably valuable in their full, unapologetic existence. Through layers of dripping paint, scribbled lines, and joyful color, my work invites viewers to recognize their own innate holiness; not earned through perfection or conformity, but simply because they are. In a world that often demands we shrink or silence ourselves, these crowned birds stand as enthusiastic reminders to embrace our worth, raise our voices, and claim the space we deserve.
