She’s been booked solid for facelift surgeries since she discovered an easier way of doing them. A little ice cream rounds out the perfect evening of relaxation! Becky reminds you to have a hobby no matter how demanding your job is. It’s important to lose yourself in something that’s fun for you. And just because you love makeup; it doesn’t mean you can’t be smart and successful too. And just because you are smart and successful, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t find fun ways to unwind and be unserious for a bit.

ARTIST STATEMENT
“The Uncaged” is a collection of original contemporary abstract paintings featuring realistic bird renderings to illustrate the concept of the “un-caging” of women. They may be oppressed or abused for part of their lives; later to break free to go on and flourish— to be their authentic selves.They are full of personality and color…truly unique. I think about how women couldn’t even have their own lines of credit until the mid-seventies...I realize so many must have felt trapped as they stuffed themselves into a figurative box to please a spouse or others. These works are a tribute to those powerful inner spirits and personalities that won’t be caged again!
My birds represent un-caged women embracing their inner strength, sparkle, and authenticity. The crown symbols represent the fact we are all perfectly made…no matter what we were told or how we may feel. There is life after abuse, oppression and neglect...we are all rare birds finding our colors.
